History
Lu Furnu history is a
“black and white” history, realized by people
with passion and sacrifice. People who made
bread as their reason of life.
Lu Furnu bread was born in 1957, in a
traditional food shop where Angelo Madaghiele,
father of the actual owner, worked. Here Angelo
begins to knead bread and sell it.
In 1960
Angelo left the food shop and started to manage
a bakery. Soon it became famous all around Oria.
In 1962 growing business forced him to open a
second shop. With his 5 sons, Angelo start to
produce all typical products: bread, pucce with
olives,, tarallini, biscuits, fries.
In 1981 Angelo Madaghiele
retired and left the company to the sons.
In 1988 Antonio Madaghiele
take over his father’s company and now start the
rise of Lu Furnu bakeries. |
